An Explorer's Blog Site

Every action needs a purpose. Every action needs a plan. Every action needs a belief. Every action needs a philosophy. My purpose, plan, belief and philosophy is to express the aspirations of an explorer.

Search - is a trait common between all the life forms, those who live here on Earth and those that could be present elsewhere in the universe. The search for food, the search for a guardian, the search for a safe refuge, the search for a home, the search for newer territories.

But what sets the search apart from exploration? Exploration comes to the sentient among the life-forms. It is the foremost sign of intelligence, of purpose, plan, belief and philosophy. Without these attributes any exploration is limited merely to search.

I don't intend to look down upon search. Search is that force that converts most cognition into action in the immediate physical world. Exploration results when cognition yearns for distant locales and worlds and actions therein.

One searches for food, one doesn't explore it. One searches for a safe refuge, one doesn't explore refuge. Likewise, one explores purpose, one doesn't search purpose. One explores philosophy, one doesn't search philosophy. It is quite possible that the difference between what one searches and explores can be only wordplay. But a careful mind can easily decipher that the search vector is outwards from the conscience whereas the exploration vector goes deep within it.

But why is it important today to have such a cardio-intensive blog post on philosophy? The reason is very simple - the rise of Artificial Intelligence (AI). The era of AI has resurrected the dwindling importance of natural life, natural philosophy, natural intelligence and the human mind.

Where robotics is able to mimic the biomechanics of animals and humans, which largely is benign and has emerged out of our search for tangible mundane outcomes. However, we do not yet know why have we ventured into AI?

Are we searching AI, or are we exploring it? There is no clear answer to it.

This blog site is dedicated to natural phenomena, the human necessity to search and aspiration to explore, and a real perspective of what lies ahead of us.

The blog will attempt to be as real and scientific as possible, and avoid dwindling into conspiracy theories, notions, and political biases.
